One Team, One Shared Goal – an important milestone for the Valhall PWP-Fenris Project

After years of engineering, fabrication, assembly and preparation, the impressive Valhall PWP structure is ready to leave the Stord yard and begin the next stage of its journey.

This unique undertaking brought together thousands of employees, numerous companies, locations, suppliers and partners. YABIMO employees were also among the specialists involved in the project. We are proud that their experience, expertise and daily work contributed to a project described by Kjetel Digre, CEO of Aker Solutions, as a world-class delivery.

Different Companies, but one Team

During his speech, Kjetel Digre emphasised that collaboration was one of the most important aspects of the project. Although the people involved represented different companies, they were united by one shared goal.

The CEO of Aker Solutions pointed out that, when delivering such a large and complex project, the company name displayed on a hard hat becomes less important. What truly matters is shared responsibility, commitment and the result achieved by the entire team.

The Valhall PWP-Fenris project demonstrates what can be achieved through close cooperation between the client, contractors, partners and suppliers. Solving problems together, sharing knowledge and focusing on a common goal made it possible to successfully complete the successive stages of this demanding undertaking.

Safety first

Safety held a particularly important place in Kjetel Digre’s speech. As he emphasised, even the most impressive result has no value if it is not achieved safely.
