YABIMO is
thrilled to announce its latest endeavor – involvement in the groundbreaking
Sunrise Wind project! This ambitious venture aims to harness the power of wind
to drive sustainable energy solutions.
The Sunrise
Wind Project, spearheaded by Ørsted, is a testament to the relentless pursuit
of sustainable solutions. With its ambitious goal of delivering clean energy to
thousands of homes of New York, this project is not just about generating
power; it’s about paving the way for a greener, more sustainable tomorrow.
As part of
our commitment to innovation and excellence, YABIMO has deployed a skilled personnel
to contribute to this monumental project. Our dedicated team of a shift leader,
foremen, scaffolders, insulation fitters, and soon-to-arrive electricians are
already making waves, with approximately 50 of our talented professionals on site
and tackle the challenges ahead in the shipyard in Norway.
At its
core, the Sunrise Wind Project represents more than just a renewable energy
initiative; it’s a beacon of hope for a brighter, cleaner future. With each
turbine erected and every watt of energy produced, we are one step closer to
realizing a world powered by sustainable resources.
The project
in numbers:

Sunrise
is an approximately 924 MW offshore wind farm – with the potential capacity to
power nearly 600,000 homes.

The
farm is located at least 30 miles east of Montauk Point, virtually unnoticeable
to Long Island residents and beachgoers.
·
Providing
residents with 100% renewable energy to help New York accomplish a carbon-free
energy grid by 2040.

It has become a tradition for us to visit the youngest patients at Żeromski Hospital in Kraków every year. To celebrate Children’s Day, the children received sweets and teddy bears, which brought many smiles. We are happy to contribute with a small gesture for the children and the medical staff.
