Project: YABIMO/2012/Z/061
Yabimo has just signed the contract with Technip OOG PLSV (TOP), a joint venture formed to manage the construction of two flexible pipeline installation vessels for a value of approximately USD 1 billion. The huge project is located at the Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering shipyard in the Republic of Korea, however, the Korean shipyard has subcontracted the fabrication of heavy steel structures to Gdynia where Yabimo will inspect the site and control the quality and progress of the ongoing works.
It is worth mentioning that Technip with its 32 000 crew, 29 vessels and presence in 48 countries is a world leader in project management, engineering and construction for the energy industry. Therefore, we can definitely mark the cooperation with the two giants as a significant milestone in our history.
