Combining theory with practice

Experience is what makes our people stand out. But to get even better and stay up-to-date with industry innovations, we conduct regular workshops and training sessions. The Competence Center is where it all happens.

We take a balanced approach to education. For us, theory and practice go hand in hand. That’s why the center features lecture rooms as well as site testing facilities. It allows our employees and clients to improve their skills by simulating various scenarios in on-site conditions.

To verify the skills of our specialists, the center is used as a certification site. One of the certificates is NORSOK M-501. The training is conducted by FROSIO level III instructors. All of the certificates are properly accredited.

Our in-house Process Automation system ensures the authenticity of our certificates. The software generates the appropriate certificates automatically. It contains a unique QR code that confirms the validity of the test.

The Competence Center is equipped with a monitoring system. It allows our clients to watch the entirety of the examination remotely.

Insulation

Our insulation specialists continue to develop their skills and acquire new certifications. We have partnered with renowned coordinators who conduct practical insulation examinations. Upon passing the exam, our employees receive a certificate proving their progress and newly-found knowledge.

The tests are conducted regularly. As a result, we are certain of the expertise of our employees. Most importantly, the curriculum changes as the subject evolves. Our partners share the latest insulation innovations and ensure they are covered in the courses and included in the scope of the exam.

Industrial painting

Given that industrial painting is one of our services, we make sure our painters are properly trained and certified. The facilities of the Competence Center enable us to perform a variety of site tests. YABIMO employees can hone their all kinds of skills:

Passive Fire Protection (PFP) application

The training center is compliant with the Norwegian Oil & Gas industry standards. It means painters can acquire official certificates conducted by experts and recognized by industry leaders.

Our in-house digitalization system ensures the authenticity of our certificates.
