R&D project for Modular wooden houses

On May 8th, Modular Wood (the company for modular wooden houses in YABIMO Group) and our Icelandic partner Eykt ehf company, represented by Pétur Fannar Sævarsson, signed a letter of intent.

Modular Wood is applying to receive funding for a research and development project from the European Funds, Eykt ehf has expressed preliminary interest in the purchase of timber-framed module products with structural solutions to ensure stability and resistance to seismic stresses and optimized for land and sea transportation, which will be developed and implemented in the market by Modular Wood Sp. z o.o. as a result of the R&D project entitled “Development of an innovative method of prefabrication and division of spatial elements for logistical optimization of the manufacturing, transportation and assembly process.” as part of the funding from the European Union Funds.
