Welding works in a mineral factory near Bildudalur, Iceland

YABIMO performs another project in Iceland where welders and steel structure fitters are delivered. The works are conducted in a mineral factory (magnesium and calcium) located near Bildudalur, Iceland. They encompass the factory restructuring, namely, the exchange of machines and welding works as well as the assembly of steel structures, the hall’s ventilation systems and pipes.

Our welders use 2 materials mostly – black steel and stainless steel. The employees are also exchanging bearings, gaskets, chains and belts in the machines which can be found in the hall. The project started in 2018 and it is still ongoing. At present, 2 welders are employed in the factory. The pictures enclosed illustrate the machines, the conveyors and ventilation systems mounted by our employees.
