A steel hall, Floro, Norway

YABIMO was granted a new steel hall project in Floro harbour from our long time business partner. It was one of our standard projects. A simple construction with weight over 140 tons of steel S355. Because of the length of the columns (14,5 m) we had to use oversized trucks.

The construction was fabricated according to the norm 1090 and EXC2. We also made NDT tests of welds 100% VT + 10% UT + 5% MT. For corrosion protection we used a set of epoxy paints. The project was delivered and closed, before the planned time of completion. The customer was very pleased for our engagement and quality of performance.
