Yabimo takes part in the IAESTE program to bring another international dimension to the company. Yabimo provides highly skilled and motivated international students, young professionals in technical degrees with paid, course-related trainings.
Our engineers have been involved and work in Ivar Aasen central development division in London. While Ivar Aasen platform itself is being built in Singapore at the SMOE shipyard. The platform will be approximately 230m in height.
On 15-16th April at Telenor Arena in Oslo Yabimo's management took part in Subsea Valley Conference 2015. The event has proven to be excellent place to be resourceful in networking in our oil&gas business.
This year the conference theme was "Accessing insight – Unlocking opportunities". At the conference, top industry leaders presented their latest news and views, while influential players from other industries were sharing new perspectives that can inspire the subsea industry.
Recently Shell held annual global safety day with its employees and contractors to help strengthen our safety culture. Around the world, employees and contractors took part in events, sharing ideas and best practices to support each other and help run operations safely. Collectively, they reaffirmed their commitment to building a Goal Zero culture. After few safety presentations were held in Stord, Norway, a few quizes of the HSE questions were taken. Three perosons were lucky to answear all the questions correctly. Two of them were Yabimo enginners working for Beerenberg: Dariusz Hoppe and Lukasz Danilczuk. They were revarded with project t-shirts and loud ovation.
