Yabimo puts an emphasis on drug and alcohol free workplace so that business objectives are achieved in
a safe and proper manner. Yabimo also recognises that alcohol and drug abuse problems can affect detrimentally work performance and behaviour.
It is therefore Yabimo policy that employees may not bring to or consume alcohol or any illegal drugs in the workplace during work time or during the period prior to working hours when theymay carry over the effects to the workplace. This includes business functions where an employee represents Yabimo.
Special rules may apply in relation to alcohol, when Yabimo organises or takes part in an event, teambuilding events, trade fairs, special events, etc. In these circumstances any variation to the no-alcohol policy will be communicated in advance of the event.
If any of the employees with alcohol or drug problems needs help and support from Yabimo, the company will take necessary steps in relation to occupational company health system (based on the signed agreements with nMEDICA, CENTER MED). In case of additional help needed this will be done supplementarily.
The following will be regarded as serious misconduct:
Attending work and/or carrying our duties under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Consumption of alcohol or drugs whilst on duty (other than where prescribed or approval has been given).
Breach of these rules would normally result in summary dismissal and only in exceptional cases will either notice or the reduced disciplinary action of a final written warning be applied.
The Drug & Alcohol Policy applies to all employees of Yabimo. The Drug and alcohol policy is added to each work contract signed with the employees.
