YABIMO is proud to be part of the Brevik CCS project, Heidelberg Materials’ most advanced Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) initiative. As a crucial part of the Norwegian government’s Longship programme, this project focuses on capturing, transporting, and safely storing CO₂ from industrial sources.
Why CCS? Reducing CO₂ emissions is essential in addressing climate change. The cement industry, a major emitter, needs further steps like CO₂ capture and storage to meet climate targets.
