YABIMO maintains ongoing cooperation with leaders in the energy sector, including renowned service providers such as Aker Solutions. We deliver skilled personnel and professional engineering services that contribute to the development of innovative solutions supporting reliable energy delivery. We are extremely pleased to be part of the enormous undertaking that is the Yggdrasil project.

Yggdrasil is one of the largest field development projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, operated by Aker BP in partnership with Equinor and PGNiG Upstream Norway. The Orlen Group, through its subsidiary PGNiG Upstream Norway (PUN), holds over 12% of the Yggdrasil project. The project is estimated to be worth around NOK 115 billion.

Preliminary drilling results suggest that the field’s resources may be up to twice as large as previously assumed. Total recoverable resources are estimated at around 700 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe). The project area is located approximately 160 km west of Kollsnes, near Bergen, in waters 110–120 meters deep. It covers three licenses: Hugin, Munin, and Fulla.
