Insulation Works at Aibel Laem Chabang Yard, Thailand

YABIMO provides qualified insulation fitters for an international project carried out at Aibel’s Laem Chabang yard in Thailand. The yard is an important construction facility delivering advanced infrastructure for the energy industry, including large-scale industrial and offshore projects.

Our specialists carry out insulation works on process equipment intended for offshore applications. The scope includes the installation of thermal insulation as well as encapsulation work using MAT 220, an advanced aerogel-based insulation material designed for demanding industrial environments.

The use of aerogel insulation makes it possible to achieve high thermal performance with a relatively thin and lightweight insulation layer. This is particularly important for offshore process equipment, where space limitations, durability and resistance to challenging operating conditions are key considerations.
