| The Njord Future Project is an extensive renovation and upgrade of the Njord platform, aimed at extending its productive life. This initiative involves the simultaneous removal of old equipment and materials while installing new systems and structures. Scope of Work by YABIMO
YABIMO has been instrumental in providing a diverse range of specialists, including:
Surface Protection: Our team handled surface protection tasks to ensure that all components withstand harsh marine environments, preserving their integrity and longevity.
Spray Painting & Blasting: We deployed skilled foremen and operators for spray painting, abrasive blasting, and sandblasting of steel structures, ensuring high-quality finishes and preparation for further processing.
In total, we provided 192 specialists in the project to enrich the workforce of completing the renovation.
Insulation Work: We delivered comprehensive insulation services on the Njord platform, enhancing operational efficiency and safety.
Our work took place in key locations — primarily in Stord, Haugesund — where our teams collaborated closely with project partners to achieve outstanding results.
Workshop Personnel
Over the years, YABIMO has also supplied personnel dedicated to workshop activities within the newly established insulation workshop. This included tasks related to the fabrication and maintenance of essential materials and equipment used in the platform’s ongoing operations.
