On 12th October 2014 our boss Michal Olesinski and business developer Maciej Jurkiewicz participated in a competitive mountain race, the-so-called Pearls of Malopolska in the National Park in Zakopane. 1,000 participants took part in this event. The competition took place at distances of 10 and 21 km. Children also were involved in a run but at a shorter distance of 300 and 600 metres.
Punctually at 12:00 we received the signal to start. Initially, the route stretched tight curlicues uphill. A wide asphalt surface turned into a narrow gravel road. Strong squeeze between the players caused the sweat pours down in torrents. Over a 4-kilometre ascent made impression even on the hardest runners. A gorge in the woods opened up a lot of difficulties for many players. Due to the fact that the light shone weakly through the treetops, and the prevailing humidity made the surface muddy, the participants capsized, lost shoes, often had uncontrolled collisions. The best managed to get out of trouble quickly, howeve,r getting wet and dirty with mud and sand. Soaked we continued our journey. The sun soon dried up our clothes, and again we went uphill by rocky route. Yabimo team was classified in the top 100 best players. Running an attempt of character, healthy competition, and the lesson of cooperation. Regardless of the results, Yabimo helps other competitors in difficult situations. The coverage will be presented in regional television. We would like to thank all the participants for joining.
