On Sunday, the 8th December a karting competition that was a part of Temi Karting Grand Prix Tarnów in 2013 and a part of the “Play Through Safety” project was organised in TOR SPEED RACE Tarnów, Poland auto racing centre. A part of this event was the “MOTO Santa Claus 2013 ” event, which was now arranged for the children for the fourth time. It was organised at the initiative of the TTSK K -TEAM Tarnów club karting section, and the “Ready 2 Race” race team. The project also attended various actors from motorsport fans in Tarnów and several others.
Yabimo Company was the event’s main sponsor.
The whole campaign started with a magnificent parade through town with motorcyclists – over 40 machines.
On the Speed Race Tarnów track and in particular zones outside, the children could see the Supermoto race and become better acquainted with motorcycles, car and kart sport as well as take a closer look at the machines and the people who use them. In addition, they had the opportunity to take a little trip with go-karts, motorcycles and cars, both those that can be seen on Polish roads and those used in professional competitions. For the young motorsport enthusiasts had Santa Claus a hot meal and several gifts – including a meeting with athletes in various sports.
Thanks to their interest and organisers we will help influence the attitudes of future users of the roads and sidewalks. Teaching young people good habits can have a positive influence on their behavior on roads and respect for other road users.
